Ole Miss athletics director Ross Bjork will not return to one of his former schools for the same position, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch is reporting.
Bjork worked at the University of Missouri as assistant athletics director for development from 1997-2003 before taking a job with the University of Miami.
Missouri AD Mike Alden announced on Jan. 29 that he will step down from his current job at the end of August.
The newspaper cited a source in reporting that Bjork was approached about the possibility of becoming AD at Missouri but declined interest.
Bjork will soon complete his third year at Ole Miss. He was hired March 21, 2012.[/I]
++ Ross is too busy to be thinking about another offer. He's got too much on his plate at Ole Miss. He and Coach Freeze both share in the ''journey''. ++
