On your pod, I liked the idea of having power 4 tourney where 3 of your non con games are against the other three power 4 conferences. Forces everyone to 8 game conference schedules plus you get your freebie fcs game.
Probably won’t happen since all these commissioners are ****ing stupid but this would save college football IMO and ratings would sky rocket. There are some kinks that need to be worked out. One being ND. Tell them to join ACc or piss off. That would get acc to 18. Which leads to next problem of unbalanced conference members. Big 10 and ACC would have 18 where the other two would have 16. But bottom two of those from previous year would just sit it out.
Could tier the conferences into two or four tiers by previous years standings. So tier 1 would play other tier 1s and wouldn’t necessarily be no.1 seed vs no 1 seed.
You would definitely get a clearer picture on who the top 12 or 16 teams are, whatever they end up settling on.
