The wife and I are going on a cruise out of Italy in September. We'll be flying into Rome and spending one night there, before traveling to the cruise port the following day. The only thing we for sure have planned is a night tour of the Colosseum. Any suggestions on hotels and restaurants. I know there are tons to choose from, so hoping for some recommendations from fellow RGers to help narrow it down.
