It's going around that Cael Baker tested positive for COVID this week and is subsequently unavailable for the opening weekend in Arlington. Our next media opp with Mike is tomorrow (at least it's scheduled for tomorrow) but I have no idea if he'll discuss specific players being out for that reason. I kind of doubt it for privacy reasons. As far as I know, Baker hasn't participated in intrasquauds this weekend,. If I'm wrong, then it's good news for Baker and Ole Miss and I apologize, but I don't think I"m wrong based on what I've heard.
The most likely lineup adjustment I think would be to move Elko to first and Bench to third. That would likely put Sammons and/or Plumlee in center. Trey LaFleur's injury really hurts here. It could also give Alderman more early opportunity, but my guess is the other adjustment. But it's the first weekend so Mike will mix and match.
