Rebmeister as much I hate to agree with the outsiders. He is correct on this one. DN missed a team meeting and was found in his home passed out. I just hate the fact that guys take the time out to be selfish and do their own thing not knowing the effect it has on the team. It's a recurring affect, we praised and worship players who continually do wrong because they help us win ball games but the players who actually do right and love playing on the team and for the team gets the back seat. That's totally selfish man. There is no other way you can look at it.
When I first got on this board, I mentioned character when it comes to recruiting. Not bragging, and NOT a know-it-all, but I was right. If Freeze has an Achilles heel, it's recruiting SOME players who have no discipline or character. This is killing us as witnessed by Denzel. See the video of his thugness on Panama City Beach. I was there and was embarrassed. This guy could have been something! Stringfellow and Elston come to mind as well.
This is fairly typical prosecution by video. Context is everything. Have no idea to what he is reacting, so I would reserve judgement until a more complete documentation is available. (If not available, then posting 1/2 the story is really inappropriate and should the video should probably be removed. Too easy to make someone look bad (like all the cop videos on the news) when you don't see what precipitated the response.
I agree that the proper thing to do is to refrain from speculation until the facts are known. He contributed, the least we can do is to not criticize without knowing the facts of the matter. Lets hope that he will be fine and return.
But can you refrain from looking at his history? I remember he got into an altercation at a fraternity house and broke some guy's eardrum. If this didn't happen, what did? Was he also suspended?
