I have been thinking about games in which we have had offensive struggles over the past couple of years. Looking back at our bad losses, Alabama in 2013, LSU, Arkansas and TCU in 2014. Then Florida and Memphis this year. It appears there is a common theme in these games - defenses have no problem completely shutting down our offense. It is almost like these teams have known exactly what plays we were going to run.
It appears a team with a decent coach and JV level talent is able to stop us. So my question is, are we running too simple of an offense? Or is it more that we are suffering from a lack of talent at key positions (RB, OL) to execute plays and stay balanced?
