Scenario question for this season. Think before you answer

Since it appears the goals for the season have changed ( I know SEC is still in play but let's be real ) would you be satisfied with the following scenario. This isn't a question on what you would have been satisfied with in August but the season as we see it unfolding today.

7-5 regular season finish with a season ending victory over MSU and a bowl game victory for win #8.

What if the win total was the same but we beat Auburn by 20 and lost to MSU?
