So at this point we have 6.5 teams still alive:

Mizzou basically has no chance with their resume. There are 2 major games left between teams on this list.

Based on my research today, if nothing crazy happens outside of those 2 games, the worst possible scenario would be for Tenn and A&M to win these 2 games. If that happens it would look like:
Ten 11-1
A&M 10-2
Bama 10-2
Texas 10-2
Ole Miss 10-2
We would have to win a beauty pageant against Texas to get it.
On the other hand, if Texas beats A&M, A&M is out because they would have 3 losses.
If UGA beats Tenn, there would be no objective reason for them to be ranked ahead of us. We have a better SOS, better 2nd win and would be ranked hire in the polls.
I think as long as we avoid the nightmare scenario we should be fine because if we are both 10-2, I don't even know how to make the argument for Tennessee getting in ahead of us.
