I’m actually excited for Football again and it feels great!
My 3 biggest concerns for the season:
1. Pass Protection
2. Ability to stop the run
3. Consistent playmaking in the passing game
My 3 biggest reasons for optimism:
1. We have the best RB in the country. Feels weird right?
2. Pete Golding, we seem to be going in the right direction defensively. Talent wise and schematically.
3. A loaded QB room. Sub par QB play won’t be tolerated here.
Offensive MVP: Quinshon Judkins , Kiffin feeds play makers and they will feed Judkins heavily.
He will continue to shatter our record books. 1500+ total yards 12+ TD
Defensive MVP: Cedric Johnson.
He was poised for a breakout year before injury last year. It is his time. 10+ sack season incoming.
Breakout Offensive Player: Micah Pettus.
The controversial road grader makes this group go and I think we will see him end up 1st team ALL-SEC and in the All American team conversations.
Breakout Defensive Player: Suntarine Perkins.
Yep. True Freshman. Baptism by fire. This kid will be all over the field making plays this season.
Bold Prediction: Defense ranks top 50 nationally in Total yards allowed.
Stat Prediction: Ayden Williams ends up with 800ish receiving yards and 8 TDs on the season.
Record Prediction: 9-3 .
Losses to Alabama, LSU, and Georgia , and a trip to the Cotton Bowl.
