We will obviously know more after mid-week but looking like Ole Miss can be anywhere between the 5 and 10 seed.

5) Mizz (10-6) - @Okl; vs Ky
6) TxAM (9-7) - vs Aub; @LSU
7) Ole Miss (9-7) - vs Tenn; @Fla
8) State (8-8) - vs Tx; @Ark
9) Vandy (8-8) - vs Ark; @Ga
10) Ky (8-8) - vs LSU; @Mizz

Our real issue from a seeding perspective is that we only hold a tiebreaker advantage against Ky. We are 0-5 against all the other teams with which we could end up tied. We also clearly have the most difficult two-game ending.

Feel like we need a win against Tenn to try to avoid playing on Wednesday. I think Fla is a terrible match-up for us so have written that one off. Not only would we not want to play on day 1, we would be playing either S Car or LSU and those are the only two teams who could beat us AND potentially have a negative impact our NCAA tourney seeding (a loss in Nashville to anyone else isn’t going to harm us IMHO).

Thinking ahead to NCAA, we should be a 7 seed at the moment. Losing two this week and then on day 1 in Nashville might push us as far down as 10 but more likely 8 or 9 (obviously not ideal). Any combo of 2 wins might get us to the 6-seed line (seriously doubt we could earn any better seed) and that becomes substantially more beneficial if we have any aspirations of making some noise. One more win likely keeps us as a 7 seed.

Oklahoma win was important for various reasons, but I would really like us to show that we can beat a high-level opponent this week.
