Our offense lives by the big play, and is having trouble putting a consistent, and methodical drive into the endzone. That is not good. We can't keep living by the big play to score. They won't always happen, and it's wearing our defense down.

I think Derrick Mason gave Florida the blueprint to beat us last night. Looked like Vandy had their two safeties playing lookout over our receiver trees to stop us from taking the top off their defense. I think Kelly got anxious/greedy, and that's what caused his two picks. Also, the penalties on offense really killed a few drives where we started to get in a rhythm.

I do believe this Vanderbilt team is a competitive group, and Mason had his boys ready to play. Still, last night's effort on our end was not acceptable. It was clear we were flat, and just wanted to get the game over with.

Our secondary seems to play really soft, compared to last year's aggressive and attacking style. I haven't really seen a whole lot out of Bridges(some missed tackles), or Tee.

We better bring it in Gainesville.
