Hey guys I know there is two games before the big game but I can't help myself.
If Bama wins on the 19th the fight for the West is over with. If OleMiss wins Bama still has a chance but will be glued to the screen in several games just to see OleMiss win several games by a TD or less. The Bama game is going to be a showdown people. Bama and Saban will be playing at an insane level because of the revenge factor, playing at home, and Saban wanting to make sure he squashes the head of a poisonous snake that is getting more confident. Vegas agrees by giving OleMiss only a 36% chance to win that game. The problem for Bama will be that this is not the same OleMiss team of the past. They will show up confident and with a chip on their shoulder due to the lack of respect they will given going into the game.
Here is my scenario for the game. Our DL limits the damage by Bama's run game by bending but not breaking and not giving up the big plays. OleMiss offense lights Bama's defense up down the field early with a couple of explosive TD's. Key word "explosive". OleMiss fans are going crazy. Bama fans are cursing. Saban is furious and Bama is pissed off. OleMiss is still playing hard but can only manage a field goal or two from this point. You can feel that the momentum has changed. Bama methodically gets a TD here and there to make it a one score game by the 4th. Either team may have the lead at this point. Bama fans are going crazy. OleMiss fans are on the edge for what could be considered the upset of the year. With under two minutes left in the game, the team with the ball has to score. Both sides are fighting hard. Everyone can feel that something has to give. Something is going to happen that leaves you speechless and staring in disbelief. Then one of two things happen. 1) The QB drops back, has no one open, has to scramble, makes a defender miss, there is a controversial hold at the line, a DB loses his receiver, the QB makes an incredible throw across his body, there is one player to beat, the receiver dives into the end zone for the win. The winning team and fans go nuts. Or 2) The offense is moving the ball, the offense hurries to the line with no timeouts, there is some confusion, the play clock is down to 2 seconds, the ball is snapped, the QB drops back, he sees his receiver, someone breaks through and hits the QB as he releases the ball, there is controversial contact between the defender and the receiver, they both go up for the ball, they both have their hands on it, the defender muscles the ball away from the receiver for an interception. The winning team and fans go nuts.
