I just saw on bleacher is irrelevant. 1st the ncaa has rules which they say we violated and some we did. They also have transfer rules which they about to discard and open a can of rotten worms that they will regret IMO. We' accepted our penalty and have moved on. Shea basically said we lied and what, we didn't tell him we might not play in a bowl? I want Shea to play just to see his stats vs Ta'mu's but this ranting is childish. The bigger picture is opening the door to any kid who isn't happy saying "somebody lied"!!!!!! I suggest that will open Pandora's Box! OM is doing RIGHT (for a change)

Shea saw the writing on the wall when Ta'amu took over after Patterson was injured. He realized that there would be competition for the QB spot. When he had his chance to leave, he transferred to Michigan. This is similar to the many transfers he had in his earlier career when he did not want any competition.

The big picture for Shea is a lucrative NFL contract and by playing next year, he is one year closer to the big money. If he was not told the truth, then his brother was part of the plot to deceive Shea. Most likely Shea knew what was happening and is allowing an ex-Walmart lawyer, who resigned due to a company scandal, to guide him and dictate policy. If Shea gets to play, then how many other college football players who are not happy at their current school will say they were lied to, they want to transfer today, and they want to play tomorrow?

I don't mind that he left. It was probably the best thing for himself since he was not going to start this year. I think we are better off that he left. Had he stayed we probably would not have gotten Corral's signature. Patterson would have been a malcontent in the locker room and his daddy would have continued to gripe. Having said that, he needs to man up and be honest. He was not "lied to". He needs to stop trying to smear the name of Ole Miss simply because he didn't want to ride the pine. As I said before I don't care if he plays this year or not, just keep it real. He and Jim Harbaugh deserve each other.

It will be interesting to watch Bama and it plays out with two outstanding QB's. Especially since the younger one saved the other's bacon in the last game of the year. It's a bittersweet situation. Will it be distracting or will Satan perform some magic.

Doesn't matter who actually is claiming it, if it shows up in HIS appeal then he has to own it. Ole Miss didn't call hookers for Freeze but we still got drug through the mud for it.

Agreed, he may not have come up with the idea, but he is riding with it. Message to Shae: let go of the nipple. Message to Shea's daddy: stop riding on your son's coattail and accomplish something in your own right.

Heck, I’m looking forward to watching Harbaugh going postal in Shea’s face after his third int in a quarter. Shea is just a knock out version of Manziel. Similar but not the same. He’ll never get more than a glance by the NFL.
