Should you be considered a "good" offensive coach if your offense cant run tempo when the defense is playing well?

The thesis here is that doing something that really helps the other team's defense, i.e. not running tempo, when your offense is struggling exposes a very poor game plan.

All you have to do is look at last weeks game where our tempo gave one of the best defenses in country fits in the first half and mitigated a massive Oline/Dline talent mismatch.

Meanwhile. Texas A&M's offense running at a middling pace helped our defense look really good. We were able to play the 1st string most of the game and tee off with the pass rush.

My conclusion is that Jimbo is seriously overrated and over-paid, and not having his offense prepared to make that adjustment or play that way is a chief example.
