This article is very concerning and could become a major issue in the employment context. My main concern is, as AI improves, how are they going to differentiate between real and fake voice recordings? Irreparable harm is done when someone is falsely accused of racism or sexual assault. Thankfully, there appears to be some recourse for the damage done, doubt the police would have pursued it if it was a woman that had created the fake recording.
