Luke will ultimately be fired imho if for no other reason he will not ever be hired away and he won't retire in the position. What these Co-ordinators did in the past or want in the future is of course unknown to me, but I bet you a beer (payble on my brother's patio) that the same cast will not be in the same spots next year at this time.
I would have agreed a few months ago......in fact, I think I predicted that as well.......but with bjork gone, the whole culture and environment is so much better......they might be much more inclined to stay awhile....

Freeze’s offense was the problem with our O line. When the O line doesn’t know if they are run blocking or pass blocking it’s hard to do either. If you think we have had bad O lines you don’t know jack.

A lot of Rebels fans have a hard time grasping the fact that Ole Miss just isn’t a great job. Probably ranks in the bottom half of the SEC or maybe bottom third. I originally wanted Taggart but he pulled his name when the rumors about Jimbo leaving started. Ross told me there was a lot of interest early but many pulled their names. He wanted Doeren but I didn’t. Doeren is a poor recruiter. His classes average 39th. Luke has out recruited him the last two years. Dabo was a position coach, then an interim then head coach. He made it work by hiring great assistants and being a coach players loved to play for. No reason Ole Miss can’t follow the same recipe.
