There's a Hebrew proverb that says "Like a dog that returns to his vomit is a fool who repeats his folly." I was that fool today. I don't know why I keep giving Bounds a chance. Here's a recap.
First, Matt Wyatt gets on and says that about their receiving corps which has been properly documented in another thread. That was ridiculous, of course, but I think he meant returning guys. So we can't count String, etc. Matt gets paid by that University, so who cares.
Bo then, goes on to back him up. At one point he went to say that said Fred Ross was better than Duke Williams at Auburn. Completely absurd. We'll see who the NFL thinks is better.
Then Bo started to talking about the NBA, so I thought I'd give him a chance there since I like the NBA. He's either an annoying troll or his IQ is the color brown. He said if the Lakers get Towns tonight and sign Kevin Love and Jimmy Butler in the offseason that they could win the West. I can't even begin to go into how dumb that is. They won't have a point guard or a small forward, but they'll have two shooting guards, and injured white big man and a rookie....and they're going to win the west? Come on.
Then one of the guys in studio said the Lakers need Marc Gasol. Bo laughed and said Marc Gasol isn't any good. That he's a B minus player who always gets bounced in the playoffs. Paging @Jeffrey Wright and @grizznation901 . I wish ya'll would call in tomorrow. I'm on record as not being a grizz fan, but my gosh, I'd kill for OKC to somehow get Gasol. He's literally the best player at his position in the best basketball league on the planet, and Bo says he's not good. OK. Good call, Bo.
I used to think Bounds was an MSU homer and that's why he annoyed me. I was only partially right. He's an MSU homer who knows absolutely nothing about anyone sport or team not in the state of MS. So thankful @Neal McCready and crew started a podcast. Hope you all figure out your summer schedule and get back on air quickly. I listen every day.
