When the game ended last week, I immediately turned the fan page to UGA and was approaching it with a feeling of “well, we can go to Athens and hopefully make a good showing of ourselves”. The more time that passes I’m beginning to think that we have a real chance. I think we might be able to run the ball on them with a little consistency. If we can run ball, all bets are off.
I know that our defense isn’t crazy good, but if we can get a timely stop or two, our offense is capable of carrying the load. This is as healthy and in rhythm as we have been all year. Something about this group has me believing that we’re in this thing late, and the later it gets the more pressure is on them.
The boys are focused. Only three more sleeps until the biggest opportunity we’ve had in a few years. Can’t. ****ing. Wait.
