For us coast residents, the all-time winter memory was the snowfall of Dec 31, 1963.. An all-time record 6-8 inches fell... In fact, OM-and Bama played in the Sugar Bowl the next next day with snow piled up on the sidelines at Tulane Stadium.. NOLA got about four inches of snow New Year’s Eve night..
