Sunday baseball for Rebels is painful

First, I realize LSU is #1 in most if not all legitimate polls, but my "complaint" is not exclusive to today at all. Why do we have subpar Sunday pitching every year? Does MB stack up too many good arms in the bullpen or are we simply incapable of signing three SEC quality pitchers at a time? Or developing somebody up to an SEC caliber pitcher?

Sam Smith is apparently a fine young man, but his butt belongs on the pine in the bullpen to be used mid week if at all. I played a little baseball as a kid and certainly am no expert, so if anyone can lend some insight to my "complaint", please jump in.

The pitcher who would have been the best pitcher on our staff and our Sunday starter went down with arm problems and will have Tommy John surgery.
