By the time the UT at Bama game rolled around I'd been drinking with friends and was in the middle of finishing up ribs on the grill and a bunch of sides, so I honestly didn't lock in on that game like I do for OM games. That said, I heard on a podcast today that UT used Anthony Hill Jr., their five star true freshman linebacker, to spy Milroe, mirror his lateral movements, and just key in on him. Evidently it worked really well. He had two sacks and was in on 6 tackles. Catalon led the team in tackles.

Granted Texas has a whole different level of D Line to bolster those LB efforts and give them more freedom than does OM. And certainly Perkins' lack of PT at Tulane doesn't exactly give me much confidence that this will happen, but I'd love to see that as part of the game plan. At least early on give Perkins a chance to mitigate Milroe's running abilities.

Just wishful thinking and board discussion...
