This week's episode dealt with an escape by two inmates from Parchman's Unit 32 Supermax security facility in May 2000. I admit I had not heard of the escape until I saw the show...
Talk about being on a level of the Escape from Alcatraz in 1962... Dummies in cell beds... Slipping past very tight security and treading through unforgiving land that surrounded Parchman for almost a week.. The two escapees made it out of Mississippi, but were captured three weeks later in Indiana. Both were sent back to prison to serve out their respective life sentences..
