we all saw LSU give the ball back with too much time up 49-47 and OM give it back with too much time up 55-49

the accepted thought is that the tempo spread offense is better at just running the offense instead of trying to slow down and control the ball. also that there isnt enough practice time or roster depth in college to be fully coached up for all these situations

are we buying that all the way @tsiskey and @RunThePower?

bc even taking all that into account Im having a hard time understanding why LSU snapped the ball with a running clock and 28 seconds on the play clock around the 4:30 mark up up 49-47 and 2nd and 5 from the 48 going in. They run the QB sweep 1st and 10 with a dead clock, get 5 yards like you want, there is an injury, and then you run a HB dive for no yards with a running clock and 28 seconds on the play clock. I watch that and I want Brian Kelly to continue to coach LSU for a long time.

Our staff has also admitted that Harris missed the signal to go down before the goal line, so wont belabor that one.

anyways, it's always a lot more fun to talk about this stuff after a win
