Why is a 39 year old having to carry Team USA basketball against South Sudan and Germany?

Are they just taking the games lightly?

How does the “greatest shooter in the history of the sport” score only 13 points?

Maybe it’s just the team going through the motions, but it seems concerning. Maybe they’ll cruise to the Gold medal now that I’ve posted about it.
