I shall cast no disparaging remarks.Very sad and terribly tragic things that are being uncovered! I will post nothing on "your" Rivals site. NCAA stuff, compared to this, and what is going to come to light will set Tennessee back for years! You were so close, but now you are so far away! I think we all (Ole Miss, Alabama, MSU, and all who post on this board) need to set aside a moment of silence and keep our Volunteer friends in our prayers. They are going to have to get used to a different shade of orange on their football players! Try to look on the bright side my dear Vol friends, you have a great Women's Basketball Program and you can always purchase season tickets and support Maryville College! Peace and love! Hugs and kisses!

It all boils down to the character of kids you recruit. The Dave Saunders fiasco boiled down to two thugs we signed. Both were kicked off the team without playing much if any. Chris Vaughn was a good guy but he took too many chances on bad character kids and it came back to bite him in the butt. Butch Jones in his haste to have a premier recruiting class did the same thing.

Often overlooked in recruiting-Character! Sooner or later, a thug will get you in trouble, although may perform on the field. I prefer kicking them off the team, thus, making a statement. You don't go to class, don't try in practice or playing time, and become a bad ass, start fights, accept money, cars, airline tickets, do drugs, DUI, you're gone! Sure bit Coach Vaughn and Jones in the butt.

Tennessee fans and administration don't care about the negative pub and law suits as long as he wins. They are picked to win the hapless SEC Least this year and that means job security for everyone.

When it comes out that Ole Miss is getting just about nothing against them and the Rebel train will in fact continue to roll will this make you scream, slap your rollers in hair - ashtray in hand, fifty cent cigar smoking momma right through the polyester curtains onto the redwood deck as you realize the Rebels are going to dominate your team? (Yes, I know, that last sentence was a bit long.)

There may be some contention for the Vanderbilt of the West title this fall. The Gus Bust may put the cow college over the top this year.

Just so ya know, buddy, UT folk and TN folk aren't necessarily one and the same.

It's funny how things come full circle. I remember making sport of the Gumps back in the 90's when UT was pushing their 5hit in on a regular basis. But in the back of my mind, I knew that practitioners of Scheidenfraud typically receive their payback in spades, and we are just now crawling out from under that rock. Just sayin'
