They have not played well since the All Star break and they don't need to be rewarded for it with home court in the playoffs. (I know they have battled injuries as of late.) I think if they get lucky and get the higher seed, they will have gotten away with not playing high quality basketball. If they drop down, I think they will be more motivated because they lost something they should have had. Besides, they always play better when their backs are against the wall. Just my opinion.
