The problem with Freeze and Jesus in College Football

I have no problem with someone in a public role being forthright about his/her religious beliefs. I also have no issue with religion. I do, however, think Freeze needs taper off the bible beating a little bit.

I think the issue is that college football is a big business and unavoidably corrupt regardless of Freeze's intentions. Not to mention its a business built on the exploitation of teenagers of low income families (in most cases).

Even if Freeze had no knowledge of anything happening, his holier than thou approach has opened himself up to public scrutiny.

My opinion, he needs to cool it with the Jesus talk. He's got the marquis wins and a track record of putting players in the NFL that he can pitch now to recruits. Momma's love Jesus too, but I'm sure they'd prefer their sons be in the NFL with a multi-million dollar contracts.

Not a troll/atheist/state fan/enemy/etc.. by the way.
