The strangest thing about the Tee situation is that as the school is "processing" Tee, they drafted a press release and attributed a quote to him thanking Hugh for "teaching him about unconditional love."
How nutty is that?
No one thinks Tee said it.
Who in the Athletic Department or Press Office or Coaching Staff thought, "as we kick this kid off this team lets send out a press release and let's make sure it thanks coach for 'teaching him about unconditional love.' "
Would any other coach in America even want that in the release?
We need to get over this desire to make football a freaking passion play and get back to the basics. We need to try to win games not use the football team to create a mythology around Freeze and his delusions of grandeur.
