I don't think the transition to a 3-4 from simply a bodies stand point would be as hard as many think. (Assuming we sign who we think we will at LB AND Haynes returns). I stress multiple because more often than not teams are in a Nickel. However we'd have a little bit of a conundrum with the Huskie/Safety positions and what to do with those guys.

I initially cringed at the thought of it when around mid-season candidates with 3-4 background were being posted here on the boards and elsewhere.

WDE - Breeland Speaks/Josiah Coatney; Austrian Robinson
NT - Benito Jones ; Ross Donnelly;
SDE - Charles Wiley/Qaadir Sheppard; Garrald McDowell

OLB - Marquis Haynes; Victor Evans; Shawn Curtis
MLB - DeMarquis Gates; Willie Hibbler; Jeffrey Burley
MLB - Adonis Thomas; Detric Bing-Dukes; Joshua Clarke
OLB - AJ Moore; Donta Evans/Jay Johnson; Breon Dixon

CB - Jalen Julius; Javien Hamilton
FS - Zedrick Woods; CJ Moore; CJ Hampton
SS - Deontay Anderson; Myles Hartsfield
CB - Jaylen Jones; Montrell Custis

Having guys like AJ Moore is beneficial for throwing multiple looks but isn't the ideal LB size especially in a 3-4. I'd almost say that Hartsfield falls into this category too. The opposite OLB position is the one that can put the hand down obviously.

I left some off like Armani Linton because i'm not sure which position they fit at and don't think they will see significant snaps.

Very incomplete list and many things can change. We can add or lose some big pieces.
