The two things that frustrate me the most about this whole situation:
1) The step-father bringing this on Laremy. Great guy. I hope at some point in his life, he realizes that he didn't just screw Laremy, but his actions very well could affect all of us that love OM football and have waited forever for a team this good. Therefore, f**k you, sir.
2) I know someone stated that we have good attorneys. That may very well be true, but they don't seem to be as good as some others I have seen. This drama has been unfolding for months and we still don't have an answer. Bama/A&M/Oh St. etc attorneys get way out in front of these things. They have players that break rules, get suspended, etc, but they get answers quick and they usually get better penalties because they either were on top of it from the beginning, they have better connections, or they are better negotiators. Georgia seems to have our same problem here too. Gurley and Manziel get caught for same thing. Gurley gets 4 games (maybe 6, I can't remeber), Manziel gets 1/2 game against Rice. Then flashes the money sign after he scores his first TD. My personal favorite was when Ohio St players got caught. They get 1 game, but they delay it until next season opener so that they can play in the bowl game. What a deal!! The NCAA is nothing to be scared of, if you are ready to deal with them. They are on the brink of collapse, and don't have the best representation. We should not allow them to drag their feet or to arbitrarily decide punishments that are not equal to punishments of players at other schools. I know there is precedent somewhere of a player getting caught taking benefits, who was not suspended a whole season or whatever we are fighting. I just mentioned 3; there are probably 100 more.
