I have seen several posters, writers, and commentators use this "businesslike" word to describe the Ole Miss approach to the game this weekend. I think that there are two events that clearly demonstrates this to be true.
1) Hugh Freeze's pregame speech. He admitted that it was one of the shortest pregame speech he has ever given. He didn't give some long story that gets their emotional high to a new level. Hugh Freeze simply told the team that they were good enough to beat this Alabama team.
2) There were three instances where Bama made a return to form and completely seize the momentum. At three three points in the second half, the stadium fans erupted in loud support. A team that is playing on emotion crumbles in any of those three situations, but this team wasn't phased. They recognized the Bama run and responded with success. That is the hallmark of a team that is playing with "Businesslike confidence".
