Freeze said, "Laremy is one of my favorite kids and I love him dearly. We don't talk about the situation a whole lot. I had to communicate to him we are going to be very cautious and sit him out and it hurts a guy like him. No indication of how many games it could go." He then topped that comment by saying he'd "have to feel very comfortable that program was not at risk" without NCAA approval to play Tunsil.

Why is the question as this is Tunsil's third year. Was there a recruiting violation? That seems nuts since it IS his third year and I can not imagine that Freeze would be complicit in any type of violation. So, I look to the possibility that the NCAA actually finds merit that the scummy step-dad has provided information on an issue (agent contact perhaps) that has substance. Was there phone calls? Is the mere or chance meeting with an agent a violation? Did money change hands? Does there have to be more? Really, WTF occurred? This tiptoeing around by Freeze makes no sense. Perhaps Freeze should ask Tunsil straight out: "Did you do something stupid? If Tunsil responds in the negative then Neal is right... play Tunsil at Bama and tell the NCAA to come back when they have something.

Based on what I've read on another post about a certain person(s) in the tower not having balls is stunning. To allow meaningless threats to have the potential to damage what could be the most successful season by OM in decades is beyond the scale. If there is nothing Freeze must tell compliance that he's holding Tunsil out for Fresno but that Tunsil will play at Bama.
