Disclaimer: I know it was against an inferior team and we were vanilla and etc, etc, etc. I just wanted to get your thoughts about our transfers. Seems a lot of times transfers play a huge role for us (Bo Wallace) and other times they play less than we expected.

THE GOOD

1. Chad Kelly: exceeded my expectations. Always nervous breaking in a new QB. Im getting really excited about him.

2. Stringfellow. I think he is who we thought he was. I think he's going to have a huge year.

3. Tony Bridges: Looked like he played well to me and that he has carved out a niche with the starters. Glad we have him.

STILL UNKNOWN

1. Tee Shepherd: How much did he play? I just didn't notice him at all which I know sometimes can be a sign of a really good corner cause ppl aren't throwing at him. Just don't remember him on the field. I think we--or at least I--assumed he'd be our #1 corner and instead he's #3. Thats not damning necessarily, due to our talent at the position, simply worse than I expected.

2. DJ Jones: I kinda thought he'd be starting too beside Nkemdiche. He looks big and strong but looks like he might not move as well as laterally and as quickly as some of our other guys. Maybe he'll have a bigger role as a space eater against power teams like Alabama and Arkansas?

3. Akeem Judd: I'm with Neal. It's not like he looked bad, just wasn't impressed. I think my expectations were too high. I'm wondering if his role is only to pick up short yardage.

Did I miss anyone? This is just off the top of my head.
