If he goes pro in baseball and it doesn't work out he can still play college football. Pro football is hard on the body. The average career of a NFL eb is something like 3 years. Even if he was ready for the NFL he would not be draft eligible until he was a junior. If I had to limit him to one sport for OM suit him up for football. If he goes MLB they will restrict him from playing football due to the injury risk so he could not play at OM until his contract expired.Ealy looks to be leaving the door ajar at least, but would it be cool if he'd play football and baseball too, maybe just one year before the $$$$$$? I guess AJ had a similar path but football has it's attraction fo'sho!
We need to recruit another rb.It should be difficult to turn down that big signing bonus next year vs a "chance" to play NFL what with injury risk etc. Show Me the Money! Bird in hand! yadayadayada
I wonder what Bama is paying for running backs these days?Especially with that article front about his top schools. Should be singular.
