If you want to be accurate, then take away points for the ones that you lose.
Take MSU for example. They have 6 commits (or whatever you want to call them) and are currently ranked #3 or so. But 4 of the 24 guys that they've lost (Kevin Coleman, Van Buren, Craver and Pollack) are all better than the best of their 6 commits.
And by the way, of MSU's 24 guys in the portal, not a single one is a walk on. They got issues in Starkville.
