Iowa Western DE Trevon Young has committed to Louisville. Young visited Ole Miss last week before heading to see the Cardinals. He had an offer. He also has a checkered past. I detailed that in the weekend notes.
Clifton Garrett is making his decision today. Anything but LSU would be shocking. Ole Miss and Tennessee will also be options.
Nothing new on the CJ Hampton front this morning. At last look, both staffs feel confident. From what I have gathered, he hasn't said anything troubling to Ole Miss, and the Tide has thought for a while it can turn him. Maybe something breaks before the announcement or he gives a peek into his thought process, but at this point I wouldn't be shocked to see it go down close to or all the way to his 5:30 p.m. decision on Friday.
