I graduated in 2005 and have never understood why we don't have a section for the "I want to sit the whole game" crowd and a section for the "I want to stand" crowd. Why not ask the ticket holder which they would prefer when they renew their season tickets and place them in like sections? Depending on the breakdown, either put "sitters" on one side and "standers" on the other OR just alternate sections. Also, there could be a "don't have a preference" section which might encompass a lot of fans as well.
As for the folks who are "up the food chain" on the donation scale, they would still get their ideal seats if you alternated sections.
I don't know much. I'm just a teacher. However, this seems like too easy of a solution to me. Help me out, please. What am I missing?
