MOODY A HOWELL TROPHY FINALIST
Junior G Stefan Moody was named one of three finalist for the Bailey Howell Trophy presented by the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame to the most outstanding men's college basketball player in Mississippi. The winner will be announced Monday and Ole Miss has won the award each of the last two seasons.
REBELS ROLL PAST TIDE
Junior G Stefan Moody scored 25 points, including 22 in the second half, and senior G LaDarius White added 19 point off the bench, as Ole Miss knocked off Alabama 82-74 Tuesday night. Senior F Aaron Jones added a season-high 10 points and pulled down 5 boards off the bench for Ole Miss. The Rebels outscored the Crimson Tide in the paint, 28-16. The Ole Miss bench outscored its counterparts on Alabama, 36-5, in the win. It marked just the 11 win all-time for the Rebels in Tuscaloosa.
