I’d like to see this lineup for a few games in a row and see how it goes:
Groff CF
Fischer 3B
Ross DH
Lege 1B
Hill SS
Gatlin LF
Hughes RF
Berch C
Randle 2B
We are currently weak at 3 of the most important defensive positions on the field. Not sure we can do anything different at SS just hope he plays better. Berch and Smithwick are bad but Berch is significantly better than Smithwick. Ross is atrocious at 1B and there’s lots of other options there. I’d like to see Gatlin get more ABs and Lege was decent at 3B last year so I think he could play 1B really well.
