Well, if practice has been laid back for four weeks, there you have it (a rant)

Like most other sports, but football in particular, you play like you practice. If they practiced little contact and no tackling, that is how we've played. Football players need to have a ton of energy pent up come game day and if they been laid back, that energy isn't there. Hitting below the waist is bad, but they should be hitting each other and then schwacking the opponents.

There is no doubt tackling is a huge problem. The only way to fix that is to tackle and be tackled. If this team has been soft, fix it. Get mean. What would Saban, Miles, and Meyer be doing about now?

Also, what his deal about defending the horrible play calls on short yardage. Hell, he said he learned from New Mexico State's goal line stand. Time to stop being so concerned about balance and move vertically in the passing game. If that is what Werner sees from the box, go with it. Let the defense feed off the offense's energy and the mental preparation from good practices!!

... and no - I DO NOT feel better now. I'm pissed!!....
