It’s been a while so I wanted to start a thread about recent reads. Here’s what I have completed recently:
Stardust by Neil Gaiman
The Stranger in the Lifeboat by Mitch Albom
The Maltese Falcon by Dashiell Hammett
The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by VE Schwab
Dead Wake by Erik Larson
The Pearl by Steinbeck
The Swiss Family Robinson by Johann David Wyss
And the Call of the Wild by Jack London
Stardust, Dead Wake, and the Pearl were all phenomenal. The rest were either fine or downright disappointing.
Currently finishing up Journey to the Center of the Earth by Jules Verne
And the Body Keeps the Score. Both have been great thus far.
