What happened to the zone read plays that were so successful with Bo?

i understand the need to protect the QB, but we're not fooling anyone with that inside handoff play that we have run unsuccessfully about 100 times this year.

It was mentioned that Chad was probably the best running QB on the team and it appears as though he is considerably faster than Bo was. Why are we not taking advantage of an obvious skill set?
