A lot of fans specifically the Fire Matt Luke crowd (I'm in that group) downplay the significance of the impact of one player on the Oline. Every position will get better when and if this return happens next week.

Fahn Cooper did a decent job but he will finally be back home on the right side of the ball. Sean Rawlings has done an admirable job for an experienced guy playing out of his true position but this is a definitely upgrade. This most importantly gives a veteran bookend that can help the inexperienced Sims/Taylor at Right Guard in communication and looks they may see.

Javon Patterson is improving every week. He'll only be helped further by a player that has an excellent grasp on picking up blitzes and different looks from that side.

Justin Bell as much as maligned for his weight and play (i'm guilty) can be serviceable if they can get him back healthy and essentially on a pitch count to keep him fresh. His experience helps and is needed with Rod Taylor making some noticeable MA's.

Aaron Morris is just bad guys. Maybe he isn't healthy enough to do too much but he is just bad. I saw it. They threw an ailing Javon Patterson in there after the first 2 drives because Morris was just bad...
I wonder if they may entertain the idea of getting Ben Still some reps at Left Guard. A kid that may get beat sometimes but he is not going to totally whiff blocks and make bad mistakes in assignments. He can move guys too he had a solid day at Center regardless of competition.

Outside of the personnel standpoint this will galvanize an injured and beat up football team still with their destiny to be controlled in front of them.

Don't count these Rebels out just yet.
