What's happened to this board?

I know this isn't what you would want if you were still a mod but this places has the potential to be a helluva board as long as there are no homers moderating it. This place could be the hub for all SEC posters.
It was a hell of a board before you, GOMM and other from the state of AL found it. There were a lot of Ole Miss people on it until you all turned it into a smack board. I have been coming here many years. The same thing is what has happened to the X board before it became so highly polarized. A lot more people posted regularly.

Right, I get called a troll if I have a dissenting opinion about this NCAA crap or any subject that questions OM, yet, been on this board for several years. First of all, I am NOT a troll. I am objective. I love Ole Miss and always will! Many of you have seen my posts, some good, and others not so. Hopefully, they make one think. But to be called a troll, that hurts.

We are not winning in football. If we were, this board would be nuts. Instead, the NCAA has dictated an overly long process of investigation and hidden its findings to the point of where we can only speculate and assume our demise. We knew it would happen. But it's no longer enjoyable to speculate on our football program's escalation to prominence. It may still happen but not anytime soon. The program got caught. My problem is somebody such as boosters and some idiot coach tried to pay some recruits money, without expecting any repercussions from the NCAA. As if that wouldn't happen! The boosters ruined the fun and pride of Ole Miss football, and should pay the price!
Agreed, that's two decent boards that the welch has ruined. Even his own fans are embarrassed by him and who can blame them?
Thats a fair perspective and I do think the investigation has been improperly drawn out... its also worth mentioning, however, that once caught, OM circled the wagons and went into full denial mode from the top down. Its still going on in some cases and even among the fans... point of fact, the infractions include MUCH more than just rogue boosters. Had OM been more forthcoming, the investigations likely would have been much shorter and the coming penalties less severe.
Honest Question: Respectively, "---point of fact---", how do you know more than 95% of Rebel fans, and what are your sources?
Well, my sources are the many news outlets reporting on this and considering that 95% of the Rebels have been 95% wrong since this whole thing started, knowing more than them hasnt really been much of a feat. Perhaps its because Im not too close to the situation or Im not blinded by self-interest.
To be honest, at this point Im not even arguing against what Rebels are saying - its changed so many times since it first started, denial followed by revision followed by denial after every new fact came out, that its impossible to keep track of what the current 'groupthink' is.
I dont blame you, Im sure most fanbases would act the same under similar circumstances... but to suggest that you guys have the best handle on the state of things is to ignore the well-established history of how often you guys have already been wrong. Hell, I cant get most of you guys to acknowledge things the administration has already admitted to.
