Just got done watching Battlehawks/Sea Dragons. It was a great game.
One rule I really like and could be a compromise to that ridiculous “clock run after incomplete pass.”
First… I want to point out that this game tonight last 2 hours and 44 minutes… (amazing.)
Second… the XFL does a running clock until the 2 minute warning in each half. After that, it goes to college(esque) rules: first down stops clock. And after the 2 minute morning, the clock stops for out of bounds plays and incompletions.
This might have been mentioned on one of the shows last week… but seeing it in real time was quite entertaining.
