So, Tennessee WAS good back when Phil Fulmer coached, but it is obvious that Tennessee is just not very good now. 7 wins, 6 losses - and the majority of the wins are unimpressive.
Ole Miss beat several of the top teams in the nation and racked up 9 wins to the Vols 7. Just look at the results and you tell me which program is a program "on the rise". In fact, the Rebels beat 5 or 6 teams that were better than Tennessee in addition to handing the Vols a 34-3 beatdown.
