Why did we stray from the game plan we ran against Arkansas and Georgia?
Why was Kiffin even stating why teams don’t want to play in the SEC Championship game?
It’s clear to me that Kiffin and staff/players took a win over Florida for granted and didn’t prepare our team properly!

I know they have said they won’t punish Champ game losers but if Texas boat races Georgia, you would have to think there would be a discussion

if you’re up late in a football game with the clock moving-(say less than 5 minutes), why not false start over and over? the clock starts again and runs until there is 2:00 left.
15 yards worth of penalties could knock off 2:00 of the clock or make a team use timeouts.. seems like a good trade off if you’re around midfield.

That’s not being discussed enough, but in the current format, if you were Texas, Oregon, or Penn State, you needed to be TRYING to lose yesterday, so you get a better path.

That needs to be discussed, so that we start to understand how bad it is that this format exists with the structure of the byes.

Penn State gets to go SMU-Boise to get to the semifinals (teams ranked 10 and 9).

Texas gets to go Clemson-ASU to get to the semifinal (teams ranked 16 and 12).

Meanwhile, Oregon has to beat Tennessee or Ohio State (teams ranked 6 or 7), and Georgia has to beat Notre Dame most likely (team ranked 5).

We knew this coming in, but seeing it officially on paper should be eye opening.
