Well it is obvious that we have learned nothing on offense at all. We are hell bent on running

the ball up the middle or at all when we need to pass to set up the run. State is ready to play and our coaching staff is in a daze. They fake a punt and we are asleep at the wheel like we didn't know they were going to throw everything at us. Weiss needs to be fired and sent packing and the line coach as well if he can't get it done. We get a turnover at their 33 yard line and instead of going after their throat we go through the motions for 3 points and throw it on third and long when they were ready for it. This has been our problem in all three losses and that is playing not to lose.

Most frustrating football seasons

This can be based off expectations or how the season played out.

1. 2024 - Arguably the most talented team in Ole Miss history. I gave up on this team after the LSU loss, and they won me back by thrashing Arkansas. GA was the biggest win in program history followed by the worst loss.

2. 2016 - Brought back some of the talent from 2015 and a highly ranked recruiting class. Blew double digit leads against FSU and Bama, the team completely quit while getting trashed by Vandy, and the NCAA situation was going on the whole time.

3. 2022 - Started 7-0, blew a double digit lead against LSU, and the whole Lane to Auburn situation happened.

Honorable mention: 2014 and 2003 (I’m too young to really remember this season even though I went to some of the game)

Question - Does CFB And The NFL Need To Do Something About...

... making field goals a little more difficult?

I mean these days most kickers (in the NFL certainly) and the decent ones in CFB are converting FG at a super high level (virtually automatic under 50 yards) and now even 50 yard plus kicks are made far more than missed.

Should the goal posts be reduced in width somewhat to make them more difficult and make teams for 1st downs and TD's more?

I think I'd be in favor of that. Especially in the NFL.

Thoughts?

Failure

Even though we get into a bowl game and at this point 8-3 team, season feels like a losing one. We lost for many reasons here or some
1 Napier outcoached Kiffin
2 Florida played better than us
3 Bad decisions by Kiffin TAKE THE POINTS win the game
4 Bad play callls by Weiss (hope he leaves)
5 No running game today or all year
6 No quality RB
7 OLINE does not run block well
8 Dropped passes
9 Had chance to become relevant and failed
10 Nothing to do with today however losing to KY LSU same issues and should have never lost. Gave those away for same reasons

So we as fans can see the glaring issues with the team so the question is why can't LK??

Clearly the RB and OL is terrible and has been all year. The evaluations are atrocious and nil wasted there as well. The question is will LK finally see where his problems are and fix those or he will he be stubborn and refuse change. If LK wants to run this team like a NFL model then he needs to make harsh NFL decisions. You think an NFL team would allow the BS to take place and cost championships?
