I’ll probably answer my own question. Why are news outlets using his farewell announcement as a leaving early situation? Isn’t he out of eligibility? Just clickbait titles?

On a positive note for him, he will get to spend all of his Christmas break time for the next four years with his family at home instead of playing in meaningless bowl games.

So is he a terrible coach or a bad evaluator?

Assuming Austin Simmons is our starting QB next year, does that increase the importance of having a stud right tackle as opposed to having a left tackle since he is left handed? Curious if that changes our valuations of right tackles and paying a premium for a good one since we historically aren’t developing our recruits we have on the roster.
Simmons seems like a stud so it will be fun watching a lefty sling it.

Go look at the MSU board and they getting excited over 3 defensive guys taking visit today and tomorrow that have a combine tackle combo of 15.
They are more exciting at the fact they are getting size on defense than they are production. I do wonder though, some of these guys that have committed to MSU, what happens when they miss that first payment
