FOOTBALL: Ole Miss to host Meet The Rebels Day

Ole Miss Football To Hold Meet The Rebels Day

OXFORD, Miss. –
For the first time since 2019, Ole Miss will welcome fans to the Manning Center to secure autographs from football players with the return of Meet The Rebels Day on Saturday, April 12.

The event will be the highlight of Ole Miss’ spring practices, as the team will not conduct a spring game this year.

“In keeping with our program’s pro mindset, we are taking a business-like approach with our spring drills with the focus of improving as a team,” said Rebel head coach Lane Kiffin “After careful thought including the timing of other spring events, we determined it was best not to hold a spring game. We look forward to hosting a fan day for the Ole Miss family to engage with our players on a personal level.”

Admission will be free for Meet The Rebels Day, which is tentatively set to begin at 1 p.m., just hours before the Ole Miss baseball team hosts Tennessee in game two of the series between two of the last three national champions. In addition to player autographs, fans will hear from Kiffin and other Ole Miss coaches during a Q&A program.

More details on Meet The Rebels Day will be announced in the weeks ahead. Ole Miss will begin spring football drills on March 18, and practices are closed to the public.

If we are gonna advance past next weekend

We gotta get something out of Matt. I know his injury situation, this isn’t a shot at him at all. He’s giving literally all he can give. This is just the reality of our situation. 2 points today while the other 4 starters were in double figures was too much to overcome.

That was a great 2 games for us for the most part I feel like. Time to rest up and give all we got next weekend.

NCAAT Matchups

I’m sure there are all sorts of combinations to look at (if you’re interested comment below and I’ll run it). But the matchups that would seem like the best to me would be teams that don’t offensive rebound and turn the ball over.

Iowa State, Michigan, Kentucky, seem like the best higher-seeded matchups for us.

The worst seem like A&M, St. John’s, Florida, Houston, and Auburn.

This Sweet 16- Holy Moly- and is Arky a Cinderella?

Aside from us making it, this Sweet 16 is loaded. That Maryland/UF game is going to be 🔥. Arkansas, a Cinderella? That’s going to be a good one too. And the Midwest starting with UK/UT and Houston/ Purdue in Indy. Sign me up. You know the NCAA loves to act like they love the little guy, but that’s going to be a tough act to hold on to after all the payouts from this coming weekend. They’re about to make some bank and me thinks that the Cinderella will be like this year- a 10 seed from the SEC.

What matchups are you looking forward to besides OM?
